Mountains are a source of inspiration to one and all – and you won’t find a better slice of this than at the eagerly awaited 2019 Killarney Mountain Festival.   This exciting spectacle and celebration of all things mountain and adventure related will run over the weekend of the 8th, 9th and 10th of March 2019 and will aim to serve as the biggest and best social event for outdoor enthusiasts in Ireland. It will take place in the vibrant and bustling town of Killarney, County Kerry – Ireland’s true Adventure Capital. WE LOVE ADVENTURE at The Ross, and this is right up our mountain path. Killarney is truly stunning and is a magnet for all those who share an affinity for outdoor adventure, with the MacGillycuddy Reeks the perfect backdrop.Surrounded by 25,000 acres of spectacular National Park and towered over by Ireland’s highest and most impressive rugged mountains – Killarney is the perfect home from home for all Adventure Travel Enthusiasts.


The inuagural Killarney Mountain Festival will be run in close association and with the support of the hugely successful and renowned Kendal Mountain Festival in the U.K and be aligned, organised and run along the very same lines as this very successful UK event.

It will celebrate, excite and inspire and will feature a multitude of exciting weekend long activities from adventure movies and documentaries, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions, competitions, family fun activities, cultural interest, sample & featured hikes, scrambles and climbs, musical entertainment, and inspiring guest speakers, which will be announced on the Website Table of Events in the coming weeks.

The wonderfully restored Killarney House and Gardens is the Basecamp, Social Hub and Meeting Place of Killarney Mountain Festival.
