Now in its 11th year (since June 2006) fantastic motorbikes have buzzed their way around the roads of Kerry, making their way to the Bikefest centre, raising well deserved money for Charity. This year's chosen Charity is Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. And not only raising well deserved funds, there is fantastic family entertainment at the Ireland Bikefest event, with free music from excellent cover bands Get Rhythm, Def Leopard and much more. The Sunday Parade at 11am as the Bikes purr past is a joy to behold.
Taking part in Killorglin, on the wonderful Ring of Kerry, the K-Fest takes in all things art, music, filmography, children's activities and much more. Around the town of Killorglin there is a free music and poetry and a bubble fun workshop, with art all around the town, and fantastic street entertainment. Well worth a look.
Listowel Writers Week
Taking place from May 31st to June 4th, Listowel Writers Week is a cornucopia of authors from the literary world, with years of experience. and interacting with wonderful audiences. There is also an excellent children's program that will inspire any budding Eoin Colfer! And for further entertainment, why not hit the Listowel Racing Festival?
Dingle Global Rhythm Festival
Get into the groove and hit the beat at the Dingle Global Rhythm Festival. It aims to get adults and kids alike drumming and dancing to the beat! There will be drumming workshops, DJs and street entertainment alike.

You're not limited to these big festivals in Kerry over the June Bank Holiday Weekend; the wonderful landscape offers wonderful activities from North to South along Kerry's portion of the Wild Atlantic Way. You can try Siamsa Tíre in Tralee, or the INEC at the Gleneagle Hotel.
