After an epic day of hiking, kayaking, cycling and running, participants in the Helly Hansen Killarney Adventure Race were treated to a mega after-party in The Ross Hotel.
Over 1,100 adventurers descended in Killarney for Ireland’s leading one-day adventure race. For its second year in a row, the event was a sell-out.
Crowds gathered in The Lane Café Bar in The Ross that evening for the official after-party, which included a barbecue and prizegiving. The Ross was decorated according to the theme, as it was a proud sponsor of The Helly Hansen Adventure Race. Those who attended enjoyed the Mojito cocktails and gourmet burgers as they danced to the cool vibes of the resident DJ.
It was a great opportunity to mingle with sponsors and for the locals to congratulate the participants.
“The atmosphere in The Ross was just electric and everyone seemed delighted to have taken part in such an epic event. Roll on 2013!” said resident manager Ciara Treacy.
Its town-centre location, combined with design-led décor, lively atmosphere and top-class service ensures the venue provides the perfect backdrop for ful-filled evenings.
